Subdued Coastline

South Boambee Beach - Coffs Coast - New South Wales, Australia

So far Autumn has been a very colourful and wild month as far as weather goes. Isolated showers have been more frequent near the coast which has turned the skies into a giant palette of colours. This shot was taken on a very windy afternoon just before sunset. The use of a slower exposure gave me the perfect blurred effect of the bright yellow wildflowers. This effect is greatly used for smoothing flowing water such as waterfalls, streams and the ocean. It's nice to try new things and with rewards like this you can't go wrong with experimenting.
